Cosma has significant experience in working with a long series of competition cases, both nationally and internationally. He has earlier worked as the legal quality assurer in the authority’s market division, as well as head of section since 2006.

Håkon A. Cosma comes from a position as leader of the Norwegian Competition Authority’s cartel- and investigations section, where he has played a central role in the work of uncovering competition crime.

He has also been a national expert to the EFTA Surveillance Authority (ESA) in Brussels, as well as worked as a lawyer in the law firm, Ro Sommernes.

Cosma is educated as a lawyer at the University of Oslo, and has in addition a master’s degree (LLM) from King’s College London, England. In addition, he has a postgraduate diploma in “Economics for Competition Law,” also from King’s College London.
