Handling of standardized notifications

Public announcement of notified concentrations
The Competition Authority announces all notified concentrations on its website – see Concentrations currently reviewed by the Competition Authority. The public announcement confirms that the notification has been received by the Competition Authority, and will indicate the date on which it was registered as received.

The Competition Authority will not send a formal letter confirming that a standardized notification has been received.

The Competition Authority's handling of standardized notifications
The Competition Authority may order the submission of a complete notification within 15 working days after receipt of the notification.  If the notification is incomplete, the deadline will start to run on the first working day following receipt of the missing information. The Competition Authority must inform the notifying parties within eight working days after receipt of the notification if it finds that the requirements for the standardized notification are not fulfilled. If the Competition Authority does not order the submission of a complete notification within the deadline of 15 working days, the case is closed without further formal notice from the Competition Authority.
