The Competition Authority has decided to close the investigation of Jotun A/S regarding a possible violation of the Competition Act's prohibition of abuse of a dominant position.
Professor Kurt R. Brekke has been appointed chief economist of the Competition Authority, and takes up the position in August 2016. Brekke is 47 years old and a professor at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).
